Southern Expansion

It’s been exciting for us to be part of the SunRail project which has been so wonderful Central Florida. We’ve been shooting and producing videos on the project since 2006 (except for 1 year). New drone technology has given us the opportunity to film aerials of stations and construction. The Southern Expansion is Phase 2 of the overall project, and it features the addition of 4 new SunRail stations.

This opening was filled with excitement internally among all the SunRail staffers and contractors, who got up at 0:dark-thirty to get things started!

For this video about the first day running to these new stations, we shot Steve Olson’s hosting parts at the Vehicle Maintenance Facility in Sanford  where all the trains are kept. Steve is the Public Information Officer for SunRail; you might recognize him because for years he was a local news reporter.
